The Ballroom

The Ballroom is the largest and most flexible of the conference venues. 3 phase power and internet access is available, and there is easy ramp access through 4’8” doors from outside. The room benefits from a built-in bar. Natural daylight is very good, and there is a standard ceiling clearance of 12’.

The Ballroom Capacity

Numbers which can be accommodated are:
180 Theatre Style, 120 School Room, 36 Board Room - hollow square, 200 Standing and 135 Dining.

Syndicate Rooms

Especially suitable for meetings of up to 30 people, also small dinner parties and receptions.

Library and Lounge

Both the Library and the Lounge benefit from large windows, and both have inviting open fires. They are especially suitable for meetings of up to 30 people, also small dinner parties and receptions. Both make ideal syndicate rooms, with central power points and internet access available.

Llewelyn Suite

Suitable for meetings of up to 30 people, also small dinner parties and receptions, with central power points and internet access available. It is also furnished with flexible dimmer lighting, hearing aid induction loop and a 42inch plasma screen tv/monitor.

Restaurant

The Hansom’s Restaurant with its sliding partition wall, is just perfect for self contained functions of up to 40 people. This is the room used for meals during larger conferences, and our resident pianist plays most evenings.
